A signing and commencement ceremony for major projects in Daze Lake · Overseas Returnee Town took place in Wangcheng District, Changsha on February 20. Sixteen projects were signed on site and 30 projects started construction, with a total investment of 55.57 billion yuan. Wu Guiying, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and secretary of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee, attended and announced the start of construction of the projects. Zhou Haibing, vice governor of Hunan Province and mayor of Changsha City, attended and delivered a speech. Liu Zhonghua, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and principal of Hunan Normal University, addressed the ceremony.

The signed projects are expected to introduce 12.6 billion yuan of capital as agreed, while the newly started projects have a total investment of 42.97 billion yuan. These projects cover fields such as infrastructure, urban construction, educational facilities, and ecological restoration.
