A Hunan government delegation led by Vice Governor Jiang Difei visited Türkiye, Serbia, and Portugal from November 22 to December 1, 2023. The aim was to thoroughly implement the guiding principles of President Xi Jinping's important speech delivered at the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation and strengthen cooperation with regions and countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.

In Türkiye, Vice Governor Jiang visited Putzmeister, Sany subsidiary in Türkiye and the Türkiye Office of the AVIC-INTL Project Engineering Company, and learned about the "going global" situation of enterprises. Mr. Jiang had discussions with head of the Istanbul City Hall and exchanged views and experiences on urban-rural integration, city landscape control, and old ruins renovation in European region. 

In Serbia, Vice Governor Jiang attended a meeting for Hunan enterprises and Chinese-invested enterprises in Serbia and witnessed the signing of strategic cooperation agreements. The delegation inspected the Serbia branch of China Machinery Engineering Corporation and the Eurasia regional headquarter of Powerchina International Group, sharing views on management improvement and risk control.

In Portugal, Vice Governor Jiang called on Sporting Lisbon and exchanged views on cooperation in teenager football training and coach exchange programs. Jiang met with persons in charge of the Portugal branch of China State Construction Engineering Corporation and learned about the company's overseas market development.

The delegation also visited heads of Chinese embassies and consulates in Türkiye, Serbia and Portugal; met with relevant persons in charge of the investment and trade departments of the governments of Türkiye, Serbia and Portugal, and heads of overseas business associations; promoted Hunan's industrial advantages, business environment, and investment policies; and, conducted practical exchanges on deepening economic and trade cooperation and industrial matchmaking.
