The meet-and-greet of China's first large-scale porcelain culture- and fireworks-themed live-action show "Guocai Liling" was held at the Hunan Grand Theater on December 25. It announced that the show will be staged at the Taozihu Scenic Area in Liling City, Zhuzhou on the evening of December 31.

The show begins with the story of the firing process of Liling underglaze five-colored porcelain and redefines the characters of the Porcelain God and Li Tian, inventor of fireworks. It tells the story of how the two characters help each other achieve success and extols the craftsmanship spirit of Liling porcelain workers striving for excellence. The show integrates singing and dancing performances, drama, and intangible cultural heritage elements. It brings the audience an immersive experience with the aid of sound, light and electricity technologies, water curtain projection, and live-action fireworks show. 

Liling City seizes the premiere of the show as an opportunity to launch a series of cultural tourism activities at the turn of the year. The Hunan Grand Theater is offering tickets for the show at a discounted price of 9.9 yuan on its official website. Liling City also established multiple locations where individuals can obtain these tickets for free. In addition, during the New Year's Day holiday period from December 30, 2023 to January 1, 2024, people will have the unique chance to watch live-action shows and a fireworks display free of charge, have the opportunity to savor spicy salted duck and fried rice noodles, enjoy free admission to scenic spots, and even choose ceramic products for free.
