The 2024 Hunan Advanced Manufacturing Application Scenario Matchmaking Conference was held in Changsha on April 28. Zhang Yingchun, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and executive vice governor of Hunan Province, attended and delivered a speech.

Themed "Scenario Innovation and Supply-Demand Linkage", the event consisted of one matchmaking conference, four thematic matchmaking meetings, and one exhibition. The four thematic matchmaking meetings focused on such topics as new-generation digital technology, "Industrial Internet +", building Changsha into a global R&D center, and "Data Factor x Green Low Carbon".

In recent years, China has vigorously advanced intelligent manufacturing, which not only promotes the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, but also gives rise to a series of new technologies, models, and business formats.

Su Bo, deputy director of the National Manufacturing Strategy Advisory Committee and former vice minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, remarked that the matchmaking conference provided a window for Hunan to display its advanced manufacturing industrial development achievements. He believed that these pragmatic results would serve as reference for setting up the high-end, intelligent, and green development direction of manufacturing industry and for deeply pushing forward the high-quality development.

The event will last for 2 days, with a series of matchmaking negotiations, field visits, and other activities.

It aimed to:

- Promote investment attraction, gather industrial resources, and boost industrial upgrading by opening scenarios;

- Create a number of exemplary, experiential, and generalizable advanced manufacturing industry application scenario samples;

- Accelerate the promotion of an array of new technologies and products to find specific application scenarios in Hunan; and,

- Gradually form a scenario innovation ecosystem featuring cooperation among governments, enterprises, scientific research institutes, investment institutions, and scenario professional service organizations.
