The Ordering and Launch Event of Geely Binyue produced by the Hunan Geely Automobile Parts Co., Ltd. was held in Algeria on January 7, local time. At present, more than 1,000 orders have been placed for this model. It indicates that the company has exported complete vehicles to Algeria for the first time.

In June 2023, Liu Zhiren, secretary of the CPC Xiangtan Municipal Committee, led an economic and trade delegation to Algeria, Tunisia, and other African countries, actively promoting Geely's entry into the African market and reaching a consensus on market access with Algeria. In December 2023, the carmaker obtained a license to export Geely Binyue as complete vehicles to Algeria.

According to a relevant person in charge of the Hunan Geely Automobile International Trade Co., Ltd., the model is selling well in Malaysia, Russia, Belarus, and others. During the January-November period last year, the company's exports surged 520.41% year on year to 5.09 billion yuan.

A relevant person in charge of the Xiangtan Municipal Bureau of Commerce said that the authority will actively provide services for and fully support Geely in using provincial international logistics channels to open up an export channel in Algeria, help enterprises explore the African market, and promote the construction of the Pilot Zone for In-depth China-Africa Economic and Trade Cooperation.
