When asked why Changsha was chosen as the first stop of the second roadshow, Mr. Manoharan, senior director of the International Promotion Division (Asia & Africa) of Tourism Malaysia, said, "Changsha is an entertainment hub with a huge outbound tourism market. Currently, many direct flights have opened between Changsha and Kuala Lumpur. We are also planning a series of promotional activities and we are formulating relevant preferential policies to attract tourists." Through this event, he hoped to advance cooperation with Hunan’s travel agencies and companies.
Mr. Yan Caixing, director of the South China Region of Tourism Malaysia, added, "As I see it, Hunan Province has tourist attractions like Fenghuang Ancient Town and Zhangjiajie that attract tourists from Malaysia. I believe there will be more and deeper cooperation and exchanges between the two sides in the field of tourism."
