The main structure of the T3 terminal building of the Changsha Airport Expansion Project was capped on January 24, marking the completion of the terminal's civil construction. The T3 terminal building, with a total construction area of about 500,000 square meters, is the largest single building for public service in Hunan Province. It consists of a main hall and five concourses, forming a five-pointed star shape which symbolizes the "Star of Changsha". The apron is designed to have 75 contact stands. Upon completion, it will be able to handle an annual passenger throughput of 40 million trips. (Photo/Gu Pengbo and Yu Miao, Hunan Daily)
