This year, Changsha's transportation authority will focus efforts on serving major strategic deployment, building a comprehensive transportation network featuring internal connectivity and external smoothness, improving the quality of transportation services, optimizing the urban public transportation system, and promoting the upgrading of industry governance capabilities.

In particular, construction of the Changchun-Jilin Expressway Changsha-Anhua Section, Zhaoyun Avenue, and other projects will be started within the year. Additionally, Changsha will promote the initial operation of the first phase of Changsha Metro Line 1 north extension, upgrade and renovate 600 kilometers of rural roads, and create 200 kilometers of "beautiful rural roads".
