The 8th Cherry Blossom Cultural Tourism Festival of the Xunlonghe Cherry Blossom Valley Scenic Area, Changsha is scheduled to open on March 16. Nearly 10,000 cherry blossom trees are in full bloom, attracting tourists to come and enjoy the flowers.

The Xunlonghe Cherry Blossom Valley Scenic Area is located in the Tianhan Art Town, Changsha County, about an hour's drive from downtown Changsha. The scenic area covers an area of 350 mu (about 23.3 hectares). It has leveraged the natural valley landforms of Guoyuan Town to plant over 30 precious cherry blossoms varieties that were introduced from Yunnan, Shandong, Guizhou, and other regions. It is hailed as an "ecological cherry blossom museum in central and south China".
