On September 12, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce released the 2023 list of China's top 500 private enterprises, along with a research and analysis report. Seven private enterprises of Hunan Province were shortlisted. Hunan Yuneng New Energy Battery Material and TRS Group broke into the list for the first time.

The seven shortlisted private enterprises of Hunan Province were:

-Sany Group, with a revenue of 126.227 billion yuan (68th) in 2022;

-Dahan Group, with a revenue of 63.67 billion yuan (165th);

-Hunan Bochang Holding Group, with a revenue of 61.23 billion yuan (177th);

-Hunan Yuneng New Energy Battery Material, with a revenue of 42.79 billion yuan (282nd);

-Hunan Wujo Group, with a revenue of 41.846 billion yuan (288th);

-Jindong Investment Group, with a revenue of 33.546 billion yuan (371st); and,

-TRS Group, with a revenue of 30.852 billion yuan (432nd).

This is the 25th survey into China's major private enterprises conducted by the federation. A total of 8,961 companies, each with an annual revenue of over 500 million yuan, participated in the survey. This year, the threshold for entering the list rose by 1.211 billion yuan to reach 27.578 billion yuan.

The federation also unveiled the 2023 list of China's top 500 manufacturing private enterprises and the 2023 list of China's top 500 service private enterprises. Sany Group, Hunan Bochang Holding Group, Hunan Yuneng New Energy Battery Material, Hunan Wujo Group, Jindong Investment Group, and TRS Group entered the ranking of the former list. And Dahan Group was included in the latter one.
