The 15th Hunan Tea Industry Expo will be held at the Hunan International Convention and Exhibition Center (Mango Hall) in Changsha from September 8 to 11. An exhibition featuring red stoneware, ceramics, tea utensils, and artware will take place simultaneously.

Hunan is a major tea producer, with a tea output value of 100 billion yuan. As of 2022, the tea planting area in Hunan had reached 3.54 million mu (236,000 hectares). The "colorful Hunan tea" has developed in an all-round way, with an output of 320,000 tons and a comprehensive output value of 105.1 billion yuan. Of the total, 41,600 tons of "colorful Hunan tea" were exported, with a value of 960 million yuan. Hunan's tea planting area, yield, and output value ranked 8th, 6th, and 7th in the country respectively. The expo will focus on stimulating the consumption of "colorful Hunan tea", promoting Hunan tea culture, and expanding the brand influence of Hunan tea, so as to further advance the high-quality development of Hunan tea industry, increase the income of tea farmers and enterprises, and empower rural revitalization.

The exhibition area of the expo is 30,000 square meters, with 1,200 international standard booths. The event will showcase green tea, black tea, white tea, yellow tea, dark tea, and oolong tea and tens of thousands of tea industry chain exhibits including red stoneware, ceramics, tea utensils, tea furniture, tea clothing, tea food, tea packaging, tea equipment and machinery, root-carving works, mahogany articles, Wenwan (literally meaning toys of culture or sophistication), and artware.

The expo's organizing committee will launch wonderful tea events at the exhibition site, bringing together experts, scholars, tea industry masters, Internet celebrities and other quality resources. The expo will feature an all-round display of tea, incense, utensils and arts, and demonstrate new Chinese-style aesthetics through integrated innovation.
